Biography:
Erika Adams was raised on a farm in Washington state and came to Grant County Oregon originally as an Agriculture Education teacher in 2000.  A medically necessitated change in careers led her to the nursing field. She spent the first part of her nursing career taking care of children in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at a level one trauma hospital. Erika continued working in multiple nursing disciplines at Blue Mountain Hospital, while pursuing her degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She completed practicums in family medicine, pediatrics and women’s health in a variety of rural settings.  Erika has specific interests in pediatrics and women’s health with an emphasis on treating the whole patient. Her love for teaching and education can be seen in her interactions with her patients.

Erika, her husband and two children keep busy working on the family ranch, riding horses, hunting/fishing, and helping with the family’s Draft Horses. Grant County is home, and they are glad to be back.
