Biography:

James Cook Joined the US Navy in 1998 and was stationed on NASNI, Coronado Island, CA. James was also stationed on the USS John C. Stennis where he was a mechanic on C-2 Greyhounds. He spent the first part of his nursing career taking care of children at St. Lukes’ Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Boise, Idaho. James continued working in multiple nursing disciplines with a strong emphasis on emergency medicine at Blue Mountain Hospital, while pursuing his master’s degree at OHSU becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner in early 2020. James and his spouse are looking forward to welcoming their second child to the family who is due this November 2021. They enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and kayaking.
