Biography:
Born and raised in Walla Walla, Washington. Spent my childhood in the PNW outdoors. My mother was a nurse so spent many days visiting her in the hospital which felt like a second home. Hearing medical stories from my Grandpa who was a paramedic as well as stories from my mom gave me a desire to work in the ER.
After obtaining my BS in Biology at LCSC, we moved to Alabama for medical school. We then escaped the heat for residency in Michigan where I served as Chief Resident, before returning to Oregon to be close to family and the mountains.
I'm married with three children, and we love to travel and explore the outdoors whether hiking, dirt biking, road trips, or horseback riding. We were thrilled to be able to move back to the PNW after residency.
Other information:
Aside from Emergency Medicine, I also have an interest in Lifestyle Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
