Natalia Gil, OT
Natalia Gil is an Occupational Therapist whom enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds. She believes that “A doctor will save your life, but an Occupational Therapist helps you live your life to the fullest.” As an Occupational Therapist, Natalia specializes in the analysis of daily activities and routines across settings (work, school, home, community) to maximize your independence and performance in the activities that mean the most to you. She uses sensory integration, manual, biomechanical, and functional techniques to help patients achieve their goals. Natalia is motivated by her patient’s achievements when a patient is able to live their life to the fullest despite any limitations s/he may have.
Natalia is interested in animal assisted interventions with the goal to use canines in her practice as an Occupational Therapist. As Natalia is hungry for knowledge, she is pursing further training in hand therapy, cognition, and various neurological conditions.
Natalia holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from University of Connecticut. Natalia is an adventurer from Poland that has developed a passion for the outdoors lifestyle and travelling to explore new places to hike. Natalia’s side kick is a Norwegian elkhound that helps her navigate the mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
