Rod grew up in John Day.  After becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, he came back to John Day to raise his family of three boys and a girl. In addition to his regular anesthesia duties,  Rod provides chronic pain management services for Blue Mountain hospital.  His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and reading.
