Biography:
Shelly Anderson was raised in Prairie City Oregon and spent most of her childhood enjoying all things that a small tight knit community has to offer from athletics to adventuring in the great outdoors. After graduating from Prairie City High school, she attended Oregon Health and Science University where she obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing. She spent the next thirteen years in rural Alaska working in various fields including, obstetrics, wound care and orthopedics. Shelly has a great love of nursing and has always been passionate about impacting healthcare communities in a positive way, which is why she decided to pursue her master's degree in nursing and certify as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She spent the last four years in the Tri Cities working as a Nurse Practitioner and is so excited to be back home to serve the community that has given her so much over the years. She hopes her two children will get just as much out of their experience here as she did when she was younger. Outside of family practice, Shelly's areas of interest include orthopedics and wound care. She values holistic care and building rapport with her patients to ensure that each one gets the quality care they deserve.
