BLUE MOUNTAIN HOSPITAL DISTRICT is accepting applications for Dietary Services Aide (Hospital Nutrition Services) – Casual position (Varied Shifts on-call) or Part Time. Competitive Wage and training orientation.
The Dietary Services Aide works in the hospital Kitchen/Cafeteria and is to follow established facility policies and procedures; in order to effectively perform duties assigned. Follow all safety guidelines in accordance with current rules and regulations. Dietary Services Aide will adhere to appropriate precautions and techniques in the department in regards to hospital-approved cleaner/chemicals and/or equipment. Observe infection prevention and control practices at all times; processes food items according to safe food handling procedures.
Under director of the Nutrition Services Supervisor or Dietician will perform a variety of food services, including serving food to employees and visitors. Also, is responsible for the clean-up and stocking of the cafeteria and food preparation areas.
Establish and maintain solid work relationships through communication, cooperation and positive interaction with all employees, staff and physicians.

REPORTS TO: Nutrition Services Supervisor or Dietician
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
