SHIFT: Full-Time, Part-Time or Casual; working float AM/PM 12 hour shift position

MED-SURGICAL/SWING BED – RN Job Summary:
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical and swing bed setting. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patientï¿½s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT – RN Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patientï¿½s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
OB/LABOR DELIVERY, POST-PARTUM, AND NURSERY – RN Job Summary:
Provides direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery, Nursery and Post-Partum setting. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Performs general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement activities.
Establish & maintain solid work relationships through communication, cooperation and positive interaction with all employees, staff, patients, and physicians.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (preferred BSN).
Current RN license in the State of Oregon or eligible to obtain licensing in the State of Oregon.
Current BLS,ACLS AND PALS certification.
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)Preferred
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
