About:
Cali Carpenter, PT, DPT
Cali Carpenter is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who enjoys working with all populations, collaborating with each individual in order to assist in restoring their connection to their own body. She believes in the human body’s innate ability to heal itself when brought into balance to restore health and improve mobility. Cali works to develop a plan that is tailored specifically to each patient to help them meet their goals, including alignment based exercises, breath coaching, education in anatomy and physiology, and hands on therapy for the body. She loves to work as a team with her patients and share in their successes.
Cali has worked in various settings as a traveling physical therapist, gaining experience with a multitude of diagnoses and learning different styles of treatment. She spends time at BMHD working both as a home health therapist, serving members of the community that are homebound, and in the outpatient Rehab Services. Cali is pursuing a certification in Pelvic Floor Health, including pelvic pain and bladder / bowel dysfunction. She is a certified 200hr yoga teacher and enjoys incorporating yogic movements into her treatment plans.
Cali obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Grand Valley State University in Michigan, where she grew up. Cali moved to Grant County after having fallen in love with the land of Eastern Oregon. In her time away from work, she likes to spend time in the wilderness reading, hiking, fly fishing, or just laying in a hammock enjoying life.
