About:

I am married and enjoy a life that is shared by my husband, our two young daughters and two black labs.  Our family greatly enjoys that outdoors.  We enjoy spending time with family and friends on lakes, rivers and the beach in the summer months and skiing, sledding and playing in the snow in the winter.  Our family is relatively new to this area.  My husband was recruited for work here in 2010 and the girls and I joined him full time in 2014.  As soon as we got settled in, we knew we had found the perfect place to enjoy our life and raise our family.

I graduated from Loma Linda University with a bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy in 1999.  I have enjoyed working in many different settings during my career.  These settings include inpatient rehabilitation, ICU, and outpatient.  I also have work with our youngest pts in a large neonatal intensive care unit.  I currently spend my time working in home health and hospice, as well as working with inpatients up at the hospital.

I have very much enjoyed the privilege of working in home health and hospice.  It is a very intimate setting where the patient, family and medical staff work together for a common goal.  Being in a patients home where they feel most comfortable and are surrounded by their loved ones, allows me as a caregiver to provide my undivided attention to them.   It is the ideal environment to create a plan of care that reflects the wishes, beliefs and priorities of each patient.  I’m grateful to all the family’s that opened their homes and allowed me to get to know them while we work together to meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of patients and those that love them.
